Hi, I'm Marc Spiro, instructor at Carlson Gracie South Lakeland, where we are dedicated to teaching Polk County's youth the art of Brazilian Jiu-jitsu and all the benefits of living a healthy, goal-driven lifestyle. I grew up in South Lakeland, and I am dedicated to improving my community. I can't think of a better organization to support than Achievement Academy. My appreciation for Achievement Academy began in 2020 when my son, Ellis, got accepted there. I cannot put into words how much Achievement Academy helped my son and my family; it's not an exaggeration to say that "Achievement Academy saved my son's quality of life". It's because of this reason that I am very excited to find a way to give back to this miraculous organization. Many of my students at Carlson Gracie South Lakeland have graduated from Achievement Academy, and every day I get to see the positive impact Achievement Academy is capable of having on our beautiful community.
