Dear Friends and Family, It’s that time of year when we come together to support the Down Syndrome Foundation of Florida, a community that has made a profound difference in our lives. The Foundation’s vision is simple and powerful, to build a world where people with Down syndrome are included in every facet of the community, not as an act of charity, but because their inclusion genuinely makes classrooms, workplaces, sports teams, and organizations stronger and better for everyone. The Foundation plays a pivotal role in Mason’s life. They serve individuals from birth through adulthood and offer more than 20 programs each month, including educational, informative, and social opportunities. Because of generous donors like you, the Foundation has awarded nearly $1.7 million in scholarships since 2010 to help members access physical instruction, schooling, therapies, and other critical resources. Most importantly, the Foundation has helped make Mason’s life fuller and more connected. He has attended classes at the downtown UCF campus and will be starting a new course in just a few weeks.
