Hi Friends!
This year we're fundraising for the Down Syndrome Foundation of Florida by participating in the annual Bowl-A-Thon!
The Foundation has been instrumental in Lily's growth and development as well as opening up opportunities for new experiences and to meet new friends.
Lily has received scholarships through the Foundation allowing her to participate in swim lessons with Dr. Harvey Barnett and the ICAN Neurodevelopmental Program. These two programs have been instrumental to Lily's learning, development, and confidence. She's a swimmer and snorkeler who is safer in the water. Her learning is developing so she has more focus, communicates more completely, and is learning!
Besides scholarships, the Foundation has provided fun and friendships for our family. We've been to see a play, gone to dance parties, enjoyed playdates, and even gone camping with friends (old and new). All of these experiences are well planned and offered at a lower cost.
Truly, the Foundation is a one of a kind organization with an enormous impact on the Down Syndrome Community and everyone our community touches!
Whatever you are able to donate will be used well and will be appreciated more than you can imagine!
