Thank you for your support of Sammy and his friends. He is growing so much and learning new things each day. We appreciate how you have walked alongside him from near and afar. He is very clever and social. Because of your support in the last fundraiser, he was awarded a swim scholarship. Now he can float on his back and do glides in the water in part thanks to monies given to fund the scholarships that the Down Syndrome Foundation provides. Many of Sammy’s friends are using these scholarships to learn essential life skills and receive much needed therapies. In addition, Sammy had a new experience of horseback riding thanks to your financial support. He and his friends are gaining several opportunities to be included in community activities. We are a pro inclusion community. Please help us continue the fight to knock down barriers of seclusion and discrimination for people with differing abilities. We could not do these amazing things without you.
