i have the awesome fortune of being the Founder of Transformative Change.  
  
i've spent over 35 years trying to get to the bottom of a vexing challenge many of us who care about the state of the world face: how do i live life in a good way that contributes to a more just and thriving planet with every facet of my being...and to do that without leaving my full, thriving aliveness of laughter, joy, outrageousness and a little naughtiness behind.  
  
how to do that in the face of the continuous backslide of forces determined to roll back our evolutionary clock to a time when it wasn't safe for the body i inhabit, the people i come from, and most of the people dear to me to live and love freely?

25 years ago, i collided with the idea that the depth of spirit didn't belong only in temples, and broad, social change couldn't be disconnected from the pursuit of liberation.   
  
seeing these realms as opposed -- profound and mundane, inner and outer, person and social individual and collective -- is not only a false binary, but hides the most transformative potential for our world: these are inextricably linked and essential to move forward together toward a global reality that re-engages human connection to planet we inhabit, the people we live amongst, and the pining each and every one of us has to be free.  

i know this because i've uniquely split my time between being on the front lines of justice and on the fault lines of deepening into liberation in a social order that doesn't support either.   

so i started Transformative Change to become:
- a beacon,
- a beckoning, and
- a laboratory for social evolution

it has been a path that is unpaved, and i remain committed to walking it.  
  
but the most important understanding i collided with through my decades of labor and love for Transformative Change is that it -- that deep, resounding, boundary-defying change -- is not to be done alone.   
  
so i ask here NOT for your support, but your contribution, your partnership, your conviction in the form of a cash donation. bestow this work that is inextricably linked with your thriving with a gift worthy of our collective thriving.

there are, for sure, other good and worthy things to support. there is work more immediately tangible and certainly faster. 

i propose that, short of finding a solution to the climate crisis that has done such damage to the home we share with all species, solving the challenge of us humans' propensity to cause such damage is the most pressing and potentiated undertaking.

it is slow work.
it is vibrant work.
