I have been presented with a great opportunity to be part of Team Superstars for the Children’s Hospitals and Clinics of MN. I will be participating in Grandma’s Marathon in June of 2017 as part of Team Marvin. This will be my third marathon and Grandma’s is a bucket list race for me.
Dealing with brain issues myself, I have a special place in my heart for all people, especially kids, with brain related illnesses or traumas. I will be dedicating the funds that I raise to the Children’s neurological unit. As a marathon runner we are asked to raise a minimum of $750 for Children’s MN. My company’s president and his wife have personally committed to match any funds I raise. I have also doubled my goal to $1,500.
