When my friend Victoria, (who is now running the full marathon - you go, girl!), first mentioned that she was running, I said "good for you!" but when she told me that she was running in support of Children's I knew that I wanted to be a part of this incredible team of people all running for the same great cause: KIDS! "the most amazing people on earth". If the patients, doctors, and nurses at Children's can bravely battle neonatal and pediatric illness every single day, why can't I get out there and run 13.1 miles?!

I am a mom of two beautiful, healthy, ACTIVE kids. Believe it or not, my 3 1/2 year old daughter has already 'competed' in 3 community races and my 1 1/2 year old son is looking forward to his first race this summer. We are so blessed to have an amazing resource like Children's right here in our hometown.

The funds that I raise will be designated to the Neonatal Program at Children's in honor of all the amazing moms, babies, and angels who have benefited from this care.
