I'm running my first half marathon with my mom and dad. My sister, Mary Kate, had 2 open heart surgeries at Children's, so I'm happy that my funds will be going to help other kids like her. I run Cross Country and Track for Warroad High School, but I've never ran this far before. If Mary Kate can have open heart surgery twice, I can run 13 miles once.
