I walk in memory of my daddy, papa Corky and Aunt Hassie.  Parkinson's has been present on BOTH sides of my family tree and I've seen it up close and personal.  I do not wish this disease on anyone.  My daddy received his Parkinson's diagnosis about the same time he was diagnosed with Alzheimer's and it was terrible to see this strong man wither away before our eyes.  That is why I walk ... to help find a cure ... so no one's family has to endure this.
