Why JA BizTown Bowl?
Get ready to bowl for a cause with JA BizTown Bowl, a fun-filled event that supports youth education and entrepreneurship through Junior Achievement of Oklahoma. Whether you're a pro on the lanes or just here for the fun, you'll be part of something bigger—helping us prepare the next generation for success in the business world!
This isn’t just any bowling event. By aligning with JA BizTown, we’re bringing you closer to the impact of our programs, which empower young people with hands-on financial literacy and entrepreneurial experiences. You’ll be supporting Oklahoma students as they learn to navigate the world of work, money, and life.
Here’s why you’ll want to roll in:
- Exciting Rebrand: The Bowl-a-Thon has been revamped to the JA BizTown Bowl, highlighting our cutting-edge programs that inspire youth toward entrepreneurship.
- Strike for a Cause: Every pin you knock down is helping create real opportunities for students in Oklahoma. Get involved as a bowler, sponsor, or supporter.
Join us for a night of strikes, fun, and making a difference for the future of Oklahoma’s youth. Lace up your shoes, grab your team, and let’s bowl for a brighter tomorrow!

Who can participate?
- JA welcomes companies, both small, medium, and large to participate.
- We encourage civic organizations and groups of friends to get involved and use this event as a “give back to the community” project.
- Like companies or departments/ branches within companies can challenge each other to create a competitive edge to support JA!
How does it work?
- Large companies can choose a company coordinator to recruit Team Captains, who in turn will recruit teams of up to five participants.
- Smaller companies or groups can have a Team Captain(s) and recruit a team(s) of up to five participants.
- The JA BizTown Bowl gives participants a user-friendly format to FUNdraise online.
- Select a team name, pick your session, 4:00-6:00 pm or 6:30-8:30pm, register your team online, select a team and individual avatars and start FUNdraising 4JA.
- FUNdraisers can utilize the tools of this app to reach potential donors via emails, and Facebook and Twitter posts.
- Several of our sponsorships include teams. Companies have the option to support their employees through one of these opportunities
Where and when do we celebrate Team successes?
- Teams raising $500 or more will gather on Friday, Apri 4th, 2025 at Andy B's for a bowling celebration party!
- Teams are treated to two hours of bowling, with shoes, team photos, food, an event t-shirt, lots of fun comradery, and a chance to win great door prizes.
- Whatever you do, do not miss this super way to support Junior Achievement’s mission. We cannot make a difference without your help. See you Friday, April 4th!
