My wife, Julie, lived with Parkinson’s for several years. She attempted and participated in everything the Oklahoma Parkinson's Alliance had to offer, including speech and physical therapy groups, boxing, Pedal for Parkinson’s, support, and education events. However, she was diagnosed with a rare form of Parkinson’s called PSP, which progresses rapidly and led to her passing in 2018.

Transcending the challenges of Parkinson’s disease, Julie still encouraged and supported us all. Her resilient and beautiful spirit inspired us, even through the most difficult days. I served on the board for several years, and donate regularly  because I know firsthand the difference that these services make for Parkinson’s families.
