A devastating earthquake struck Turkiye on February 6th, causing widespread destruction and loss of life. The devastation has left many families homeless, injured and in need of basic necessities like food, water, and medical attention. Inshallah, I, Yaser Birjas will be traveling with Islamic Relief USA to the quake affected areas in Turkiye. I well be joining the relief effort, bearing witness to this catastrophic event, and advocating for the needs of the survivors. 

In this time of great need, we ask each and every one of us to consider giving generously to help those affected by the earthquake in Turkiye. No matter how small, every donation can make a difference in the lives of those in need.

As Muslims, it is our duty to come together and assist those in need, especially during times of crisis. We are reminded in the Quran that “whoever saves one life, it is as if he has saved all of mankind.” (Quran 5:32)
