Together We Thrive

Hi! My name is Latoya Tatum Bynoe. I am a wife and mother of an adorable 6, almost 7 yr old. I was introduced to New Moms several years ago from a neighbor doing a donation drive and then by a friend who was on the Board of Directors and I thought it was such a great organization. As I learned more about the organization, I knew I wanted to be more involved. I joined the Board of Directors in 2019.

Many have heard the term "It Takes a Village", but  I did not truly understand how true it was until I became a mother. I was very lucky, I had tons of support from friends and family, two awesome parents and a very supportive husband. Even with all of these resources, being a parent is HARD.

I could only imagine how young moms, some who may have experienced homelessness or abuse or just were never given the opportunities I had were able to make it all work. These moms want the best for their family, just like I do and deserve all the love and support we can give. This is what New Moms does for so many moms.

New Moms provides impactful programs and resources to help these moms be the best parents they can be and give their children all the opportunities they deserve.
