My Personal Fundraising Page

Being a mom is a FULL-TIME JOB! Even when you are at work, you are thinking about your child. You are thinking about an upcoming doctor's appointment, are they eating enough, do I have clothes for tomorrow, did I pack the right sippy cup, how are we on diapers, the list goes on and on.

I am fortunate enough to have an amazing partner to help worry about all of this and help take care of our son. Not only do I have support from my partner, family, and friends, but my job can also be flexible enough when something unexpected comes up. Which it always does! I am lucky, this is not the norm. 

After having Wilbur, I was able to experience firsthand why the phrase "it takes a village" is used so often and is so accurate. Even with all the support and additional means to get by, it is still difficult. Just because "everyone does it" (aka has children) does not mean it is easy and we don't need help. 

I want to help because I know how hard it can be. I want to help because I know how much it means to get a break.
