I’m thrilled to be participating in United Way of Northwest Alabama's Witches Ride, a fundraiser supporting Dolly Parton's Imagination Library! I’m passionate about this cause and need your help! Every donation—big or small—helps me reach my fundraising goal and directly impacts this important cause.

I'm raising money in honour of the Queen of Halloween, my mom, Marg Laughlin. She went all out every year to make Halloween fun! She dressed up like a witch and her own grandkids didn't recognize her when they were little. She prepared for weeks to give out candy to neighbourhood kids, trick or treat with her grandkids, and set up an elaborate Trunk or Treat at Our Lady of the Shoals Catholic Church.

Mom was also an avid reader her entire life and she encouraged my love of reading. She made sure that each of her grandkids never had empty bookshelves, and she was the first to donate to each and every fundraiser for Dolly Parton's Imagination Library. Please continue that tradition by donating a dollar or two in her name. Or, join my fundraising team to help get a lot books into the hands of children in Northwest Alabama!
