Legend has it that one day a fish man will harness the power of the trident to empower survivors of human trafficking and foster change to create a safer community for all. From the depths of the sea to East Tennessee…. it’s…Jared Akridge as… Aquaman!
A UPS driver and Knoxville native with deep family roots in East Tenn., Jared was introduced to the important work of the Community Coalition Against Human Trafficking (CCAHT) through his wife Carla’s work as a volunteer. He is particularly passionate about bringing awareness to the threat of human trafficking in our area and honored to be part of this year’s costume contest to help raise funds for CCAHT’s survivor-centered care and support services.
AND… he o-fish-aly needs your help! People of Atlantis – err, East Tennessee – please join Jared in supporting the CCAHT by voting for AQUAMAN!
