Let's Step Up for San Diego Social Leagues & UPLIFT San Diego!
Thank you for joining my efforts to raise funds for two of my favorite nonprofits! San Diego Social Leagues & UPLIFT exist to make transformative impact in San Diego.I believe in both organizations wholeheartedly. I serve as President & CEO of San Diego Social Leagues & have supported UPLIFT for several years. More importantly, I have witnessed the incredible impact these groups have on the populations they serve.

Our Mission -
San Diego Social Leagues is a nonprofit 501C(3), community building organization that passionately believes in the transformative power of sports; that we can bring people together and strengthen our communities particularly those that are underserved.
So many great opportunities come from sports; friendships are made, good health is realized and with our reliable (and fun!!) programs we are able to keep members highly engaged while providing outreach to critical vulnerable groups. When we look at the social problems of our day we realize that human connection and support are paramount in navigating the systems of the world we have created. San Diego Social Leagues aims to be a beacon to those whom need what we offer to their lives.
Programs-
Sports Leagues:
We offer Men's, Women's and co-ed basketball, slow pitch softball, volleyball, flag football, kickball, volleyball and soccer (bowling coming soon!!). We pride ourselves in providing a fair, fun and safe environment for all of our participants. Whether you are out to play with old friends, meet new friends or test your game, we have a place for you.
Addiction & Recovery:
Dedicated leagues and events for community members in recovery during high trigger weekend time frames and including daytime options too so that there is always a healthy outlet to sway someone from the alternative.
Recidivism:
SDSL is committed to ending the cycle of recidivism. We offer leagues and programs specific to transitioning reentry individuals where consistency is key. This also includes job training programs where we train-to-hire qualified members in sports management and the health and fitness spaces.
Corporate Team Building:
Team building activities are a way to enhance the communication between your employees, build skills, develop decision-making and problem-solving abilities, provide high-impact learning, and improve productivity and morale. Your San Diego, CA company will benefit through increased cooperation among your employees and a feeling of accomplishment for every individual. Through our team building activities, icebreakers, and events, we will help the members of your team create bonds that are authentic and deep.

Social Events & Clubs:
Our social events to take the fun to another level and bring people together (We are all about interpersonal relationship building). Come out and win some cash at one of our cornhole or pong tournaments. Or get on the field before a Padres game, and take a picture with the Gulliver & the Gulls Girls on the ice after a Gulls game!!
Like we said, we all all about San Diego!! We endorse community groups to better our city and offer our participants discounts at local businesses to stretch your wallet and improve your experience with us. Become a member of our SDSL MVP CLUB and get killer deals at local businesses and restaurants saving you hundreds if not thousands of dollars a year.

Are you looking to be healthier and strive for longevity? Check out our workout and health/wellness programs. Whether our own or our partners programs we only offer the best, solution oriented workouts or nutrition services. UPLIFT - Urban People Living in Faith & Trust - www.upliftsandiego.org
Uplifting San Diego’s inner-city communities by transforming the lives of people in need with Homeless Services & Student Services.
UPLIFT URGENT COVID Reopening related needs include funding for:
- Student Services - added staff time & equipment to host our FREE Kids At Heart Tutoring as a hybrid model this school year, with both site-based sessions AND virtual platform for low income students, who are especially at risk of falling behind in school right now.
- Homeless Services - homeless housing support for Home Team Volunteer Advocate program, turning Shelter to Home for those in transitional shelters and motels
