Urban Triage's Black Brilliance Gala 2024

May 17, 2024 6:00pm - 11:30pm

On May 17, 2024, Urban Triage is hosting its first annual Black Brilliance Gala fundraiser. This event is an all-black formal affair. Enjoy an elegant evening of food, fun, and music which will be held at the Overture Center for the Arts. Urban Triage will showcase and celebrate the unsung heroes of our community.

Proceeds will support our new dynamic initiative: Supporting Healthy Black Employment. Supporting Healthy Black Employment is a program designed to promote employment opportunities for Black and vulnerable individuals in partnership with Prodigal System Academy. The program offers extensive training in carpentry with a focus on wood framing, to provide participants with the necessary skills for a successful career in residential and commercial carpentry. Upon completion, participants receive OSHA certification and are placed with a local construction company for full-time employment. Urban Triage provides wrap-around support services to the participants during the employment process in addition to our Supporting Healthy Black Families curriculum. Our goal is to equip individuals with the tools needed for a successful career and to support their overall well-being.
