The Legacy Continues
As many of you know, I started rowing at my school in the sixth-grade, inspired by the work ethic and dedication of some outstanding high-schoolers who taught me the true meaning of teamwork and being an active member of a community. Two years ago, Vero Beach Rowing was incorporated as a club in order to allow students from all schools in our area to unify as one. With the guidance of our amazing coaches, we have reached incredible goals, including a gold medal at the state championship in May. Also, I am proud to share with you that our state-of-the-art boathouse will be completed before the end of the year thanks to the support and generosity of our community and friends.
As team captain, I am committed to the program and do my best to support the efforts of our hard-working team in order to ensure its growth and to allow us to share the experience and values of this remarkable discipline with future generations of rowers. I, once again, ask for your help to raise funds for our team and for the bright future we have ahead.
