Thank you for visiting the Vero Beach Rowing Fall Fundraising Page! The VBR Junior team is on the move, having had a very successful spring and fall in competitions, and with your help we can to do so much more! With our new Community Boathouse almost complete, we intend to grow our team even more to leverage our new capacity. To do this, we need to raise money to expand and update our fleet to accomodate the expected growth. We are looking for your help but we don't expect to be given support without showing you our passion and dedication to each other, to the community, and to our club's mission: To promote and teach the sport of rowing to the community in order to develop physical fitness, personal character and an ethic of cooperation through competitive and recreational opportunities Our goal this fall is to raise over $20,000 through our Erg-A-Thon, an event that will test and strengthen our athletes physical fitness, personal character and their ethics of cooperation. Starting at 10:00am on November 16 at our new Community Boathouse, teams of 3 will each keep one rowing machine spinning for 42,195 meters - a full marathon 26.2 mile distance! Each of our club's athletes has been challenged to raise at least $600 to meet our goal.
