Crew has been a great experience for me. It has taught me about working hard and persevering, both on my own and as a team. It requires stamina, dedication, and commitment, all traits that I will use for the rest of my life and in every area of my life. 

The Vero Beach Rowing Club provides a program not just for high schoolers, but also for middle schoolers, giving them the opportunity to learn these traits much earlier than many and also experiencing the beauty of the Indian River Lagoon. The Club also provides opportunities for students who may not otherwise have the opportunity to experience all that crew has to offer through partnerships with organizations such as the Boyys and Girls Club.

Donations to the club, hopefully through my fundraising page, will help to ensure the long term survival of the Club through the addition of new equipment and the opportunity for all who would like to try crew through the continuation of the Club's partnerships.
