We started Vertical Cure in 2002 with the mission of establishing a fun, annual charity event that will assist in developing a cure to the disease Scleroderma. Our goal is not only to raise money for the Scleroderma Foundation of California, but we want to create awareness of this rare disease. Scleroderma does not get the type of funding other more popular organizations generate and your contributions really make a difference to support programs committed to Support Groups, Education and Research of Scleroderma. We created this event with the goal of both raising awareness of Scleroderma as well as securing donations for the Scleroderma Foundation of California. Scleroderma is a chronic, autoimmune tissue disease that currently does not have a cure and affects over 300,000 people.
This disease does not get the type of funding other more popular organizations generate and your contributions really make a difference to support programs committed to Support Groups, Education and Research of Scleroderma.
