I’m raising funds to support With Hope, the Amber Craig Memorial Foundation’s suicide prevention school and community based programs, community outreach efforts, and life-saving critical crisis intervention.
It is hard to believe that it has been almost seven years since the loss of my Godson Forrest. Not a day goes by that his loss is not felt. Forrest was an amazing young man who had already accomplished so much in his 24 years, but his mental health challenges were too much for him to handle. He was a triathlete, lifeguard, suma-cum-laude graduate from Sonoma State and had recently worked abroad. My son admired him as a big brother. His passing was impossible for his younger brother Hayden to fathom and tragically he took his life the following year. Hayden was equally handsome, kind and accomplished in his own right. They both truly were family.
