Feeding South Florida’s mission is to end hunger in South Florida by providing immediate access to nutritious food, leading hunger and poverty advocacy efforts and transforming lives through innovative programming and education. We rely on the support of our community to serve our children, seniors, and other individuals and families facing food insecurity and hunger.
Shakira, a single mother who visited a drive-thru food distribution with her kids left with an abundance of healthy food. “By the end, it was the complete opposite of the despair I had when I was driving there,” she shared.
“I plan to make the potato soup my wife used to cook!” exclaimed Herman, a 100-year-old veteran who received home-delivered fresh produce and protein.
