As part of this year’s VISTEBall, the 3rd Annual Corporate Cup Challenge is scheduled for Monday, February 1, 2021. This friendly competition among corporate sponsors of VISTEBall will take place at Lone Palm Golf Club. We are pleased to announce that Andy Bean will again preside over this event as Honorary Team Captain.
The Corporate Cup Challenge is two-fold with one trophy awarded to the lowest scoring golfers and a second trophy to the highest fundraising team. Each 2-person team will represent their company by competing in a 9-hole Best Ball format to win the coveted Corporate Cup travelling trophy. Players will also compete to see who raises the most money in support of our local elders in need. The first $750 raised by each team will be matched by the George Jenkins Foundation. Last year’s Corporate Cup Champions were “MADE” (golf) and “Saddle Creek Logistics” (fundraising). Will they retain their titles again this year?
As an added incentive, Regal Automotive is sponsoring a Hole-in-One prize in which one lucky golfer could walk away with a brand new 2021 Chevrolet Spark!
Monday, February 1, 2021 - All 2-person teams invited to participate in a 9-hole competition. The format will be a “Best Ball” contest. Two teams of two golfers will each play their own ball. After each hole, the low score of each team will be recorded as the team score.
- Shotgun start beginning at 1:15 PM at Lone Palm Golf Club.
- No additional entry fee for VISTEBall sponsors $1,500 and above to field a team.
- To aide in their fundraising efforts, the first $750 raised by each team will be matched by the George Jenkins Foundation. Don’t stop there though, there is a trophy to win!
- Lowest scoring team receives a Corporate Cup trophy to retain, along with bragging rights, until the following year. Highest fundraising team will also receive a trophy. Both winning teams will automatically be seeded in the 2022 Corporate Cup Challenge.
- Lone Palm will provide all players with boxed lunches in advance and heavy hors d’oeuvres afterwards in the Clubhouse where the travelling trophy will be awarded by Andy Bean.
- Team fundraising competition will continue until VISTEBall on Saturday, February 6th.
