The Western Law Animal Rights Association was revamped this year and is proud to support #Voiceless4AnimalJustice as its first major initiative! We are fundraising to support Animal Justice's mission to reform Canada's legal and political systems to provide animals with the protection they need.

Although the law surrounding animal rights has been slowly changing, Canada still lacks sufficient laws to ensure animal protection. As more province pass agricultural gag laws prohibiting exposure of animal cruelty in farms, transport, slaughterhouses, and in certain circumstances, fur farms and puppy mills, it is important that we continue fighting for the legal protection of animals.
