My story is simple. I have been an animal advocate my whole life. My parents told me that even as a baby, I knew how to be respectful to an animal without being told. I have always known that animals are beings with souls that have thoughts, feelings and can feel pain. I have been using my voice for over 40 years to anyone who will listen to stop treating animals like they were property; that animals need to be loved and protected. We are the ones who put them in these horrible situations, and it is up to us - humans - to get them out of these horrific situations. I will be their voice until someday I hopefully do not need to be one.


