Anybody who knows me knows that animals are important to me. All animals. My heart and soul hurt when I learn what we do to animals in this country alone. My own journey towards helping animals started with fostering and adopting a dog. This lead to volunteering and then leading an adoption follow-up program through that rescue organization. I joined Animal Justice several years ago to learn more and to help share information. This year I decided to take a step I had found daunting up to that point, I started eating a plant-based diet. All of these things have a lot to do with who I am today, and I'm proud of that. 

I'm hoping that my journey will inspire you. Join my team, make a donation, read the Animal Justice website, ask me how I did any or all of the things I've done ... Just doing one of these things will make me so very proud and hopeful (not to mention silent for a whole 24 hours as David so promptly reminds me LOL).
