Walking in memory of my mother, Rhonda Spore. She died in 2000 from a brain tumor caused by NF1. She was spirited, brutally honest, kind and loved children. She had four children of her own and opened her big heart to many foster children over the years. Roses, Dr. Pepper, and the Beach Boys were her favorite things. We are also walking in support of myself and my daughter, Eleanor. We were both diagnosed with NF1 at a young age. I am thankful that there have been a lot of advancements made in NF research since my mother's passing, but we still have a long way to go.
