I walk because I care deeply for women facing unplanned pregnancies. The world tells them it’s their choice – but this “choice” is maiming women and leaving them with years of pain and regret. Since coming to work here, I’ve learned from former abortionist, abortion workers who’ve left the industry, and from my own friends and coworkers who’ve chosen abortion for themselves. The stories they’ve shared with me have broken my heart, and lead me to this conviction: no woman should ever feel abortion is her only choice. Even a dear friend who’s made this choice says this: “Abortion is a lie. It disguises itself as light but really is utter darkness. It promises hope and relief, but continues to take from you, long after the procedure is over.” At BRWC, we offer hopeful alternatives to every woman who comes in through free medical services & resource referrals!
