Let’s Keep STAR Shining! That was our opening line when we last fundraised for STAR 12 years ago, when Andrew was just a little guy (seeing him now it’s hard to believe he was ever little), and it couldn’t be any more appropriate today as we embark on this year’s Walk, Roll, and Stroll on May 7th! We began with STAR Rubino Center when Andrew was just a few months old; to say they were an amazing support system for us is one of the biggest understatements ever spoken! We learned so much from everyone at STAR that we still utilize today and will for years to come. In all honesty though, what STAR really did for us was provide us with everlasting Connections. From specialists to doctors to friends STAR helped us build the Village that we needed to help our son be the best Andrew he could be. We still look to STAR now for support, guidance, and education as Andrew continues to grow into an awesome young man!In honor of Andrew’s 17th Birthday please consider supporting this great organization, either by joining us the morning of Sunday, May 7th for STAR’s Annual Walk, Roll & Stroll at Sherwood Island State Park, Westport, CT, or by donating!
