This organization does so much for so many in our community, including me! In 2010 after my diagnosis of colorectal cancer CRC was there for me and with me every step I took through the journey. Nothing beats having a team of caring people providing what you need that you can't get anywhere else. When I finished treatment I was so full of gratitude for CRC I vowed to give back -- and give forward -- as much as I could. In those 14 years I have been heavily involved with the CRC as a very prominent volunteer, serving on various committees, the Board of Directors for 7 years (2 years as VP, and 2 years as President), creating and facilitating two support groups, serving on speaking panels, and much much more. You will for sure see me the day of the Walkathon running around helping the event to run smoothly.
