David and I have been long-time supporters of the CRC. This year my interest in the Center became even more personal when I was diagnosed with breast cancer in January and I needed to call on CRC. It's offered a quiet place for conversation, vital resources on breast cancer treatments, opportunities to connect virtually, and a link to other resources such as the Y's LiveSTRONG! program (where I was a proud member of the inaugural cohort!). What a great service it provides to our community!

I posted frequently about my treatment journey at CaringBridge, but suffice it to say now that I'm feeling good and looking foward to the Walkathon. My first fellow team member is a former colleague from Cornell with whom I re-connected over career-development questions, but more deeply over cancer. (One of those unexpected Fabulous outcomes of a cancer diagnosis.)
