Dear Friends,

My name is Paula Tusiani-Eng.  I am co-founder and Executive Director of Emotions Matter Inc.  I founded Emotions Matter in 2015 in memory of my younger sister, Pamela.  Pamela was diagnosed with borderline personality disorder in 1999, and sadly died in 2001, without being able to access the correct treatment or support to get better.  Thankfully, science and treatments have improved over the past 20 years.

Today, I am proud to report that since its inception, Emotions Matter has helped thousands of people with BPD to move forward on their recovery journey.  We provide free BPD online peer support groups, stigma-free educational workshops and materials, and opportunities to get involved in advocacy to promote recovery.  We believe that people with BPD are the best agents for changing the stigma associated with BPD.

Due to the generosity of our sponsors and donors, all of our services are offered at no cost to the community, who is often underserved and neglected by the mental health system.  We help people struggling with severe symtpoms like suicidality feel seen, heard, and empowered to access care.
