Once agian, I will be participating in the  Walk for HAWC. I have walked in almost all the Walks since the very first one, which I think was around 1988!   Unfortuantely this year, the Walk will be virtual.  With the help of my Team Luna I hope to raise much needed funding and awareness for victims/survivors here on the North Shore.  We will have virtual walks ~ safely 6ft' ~  apart, I am sure we will walk mor than 5K.  I am looking forward to sharing some of these Walk videos with you!   The fundraiser will stay open until May 31sth.

At this time where we are all working and staying at home, can you imagine having an abusive partner?  HAWCs advocates and volunteers are working via phone and tele-conferencing  to provide their clients the support they need.  The HAWC shelter is still serving families and individuals during this time.  The need for your generosity and kindness has never been more dire.  If you are able, please make a donation and/or join my Team Luna!

I was a HAWC volunteer for over 25 years and worked with them for two, I know how important HAWC is to so many domestic violence victms and survivors in our communtiy.  The need is greater than you can imagine.
