I moved away from New York State several years ago, and several people have questioned why I still participate in the Walk every year.  I choose to participate in the Walk events every year for several reasons.

1).  Because women all across the country, not only in New York, are being targeted by illegal online abortionists, who send them poisonous pills even though they might not be pregnant.  Compass Care has an online TeleCare program to try and reach these women before the online abortionists do, and I want to see it continue.

2).  Because no woman should ever have to feel coerced into ending her baby's life.  It is reported that at least 70% of the women who have had an abortion feel coerced into doing so.

3).  Because I want to see Compass Care continue to save the lives of unborn babies.  Since 2008, over 4000 lives have been saved.

4).  Because I want to see women continue to hear about the hope they can have by receiving Christ as Savior.  Since 2008, over 1300 women that have come to Compass Care have received Christ.

5).  Because I want to help Compass Care continue to train other pregnancy centers to do what they do.  Through Compass Care's training program pregnancy centers across this country have saved over 32,000 lives since 2008.

6).  Through Compass Care's training program, a network of centers has been established across this country.  Through this network of centers over 4000 women have accepted Christ since 2008.

7).  Because all life is sacred.
