Parking is first come, first serve at Ripley House, and it will fill up quickly. 

Look for volunteers and signs to help you get to the right place!

Walk for The Woods Project, presented by ENGIE, is not a race!  Whether you are joining us at Ripley House or virtually, the 3-mile route is at your own pace.  Along the route, be sure to visit the Student Stops.

The Route

Start/Finish Line Location: BakerRipley Ripley House

Length: Estimated 3 miles

Where: Scenic route that winds through East End neighborhood and along beautiful Buffalo Bayou or create your own route in your neighborhood

The event will be fun for the whole family with plenty of family friendly activities and entertainment happening during and after the walk. However, please be advised that due to local restrictions, glass containers, any animals including dogs, roller skates, skateboards, or bikes are not allowed at the event. Motorized vehicles are not allowed on the Bayou Trail. 

Walk for The Woods Project is rain or shine. If cancellation does take place due to severe weather conditions, registration fees will be considered a tax-deductible donation to The Woods Project and will be used to support our programming.
