My Woods Project Journey

The Woods Project has allowed me to travel the couctry and show teens the wonder of the outdoors that they don't experience in Houston. I have watched a student take their first bite of a S'more (what a delicious mess), pointed out constellations in the California night sky, and watched the sunrise over the mountains in Washington. These amazing experiences change the lives of our students. By stepping out of their normal environment, the students discover their own strengths and weaknesses, push their limits, and grow their skills. 

Our trips serve students who wouldn't otherwise have these opportunities. Almost all of our students come from historically underserved and underrepresented communities. Give them a life-changing experience and support The Woods Project!
