I have been working for NuPath for over a decade. During this time, I have had the honor and privilege of working with hundreds of disabled adults, providing clinicial services and promoting their dignity and respect. Unfortunately, we are living in a time where the work we are doing is under attack. There are many people in power today who promote thinly veiled eugenic fantasies as disability policy. We are not going back! Donating to NuPath is a way to fight back against the ableism of those in power. Community inclusion, anti-ableism, and assent-based, neurodiversity-affirming practices are things I continue to hold dear. Our client's lives are worthy. It is possible to live a fulfilling life and be disabled at the same time. Our work continues to be important in ensuring our clients life happy, healthy and fulfilling lives.
