Walk Locally. Rally Online.
The 2020 EFMN Neighborhood Walk on October 3 is a time to unite families and individuals - by walking simultaneously - in their own neighborhoods, parks, and pathways, to raise epilepsy awareness.
Walk Locally
Walk in the place that you feel the most comfortable to promote your support for our mission to lead the fight to overcome the challenges of living with epilepsy. Encourage your loved ones to join you in joining the walk.
Rally Online
EFMN will host a program for all walkers on October 3 to open and close the event. Post pictures and videos on social media to share your experience and show how your team is taking action and raising awareness.
Epilepsy is more than seizures, and it takes more than one person to fight it. Create a team to show your support and celebrate those who are affected by epilepsy. This community-focused walk will help raise funds in which 100% of donations are reinvested back into the five regions we serve.

The walk may look different this year, but the mission is the same. We invite you to join us on Saturday, October 3, 2020, as we invite all regions to walk on one day for the first time. It is a time to unite families and individuals – by walking simultaneously – in their own neighborhoods, parks, and pathways, to raise epilepsy awareness.
This is the largest fundraising and awareness event in Minnesota and North Dakota to benefit people with seizures. The walk began in 1999 in Rochester, MN as the Rise Above Seizures Walk and expanded to four additional cities: Minneapolis/St. Paul, Duluth, St. Cloud, and Fargo/Moorhead.
We walk to celebrate people with epilepsy and raise awareness and funds to support services for the many people we serves annually. Walkers from five communities come together as a powerful force to help people with epilepsy. Funds raised from the walk are used to educate, connect, and empower people living with epilepsy. 100% of the funds raised in each of our regions are reinvested directly back into the community!
One in 26 will develop epilepsy. Join us in celebrating our connections to epilepsy, while raising vital funds to support resources and services.
