We're celebrating the THREE YEAR anniversaries of our survival from the two leading causes of Sudden Maternal Death and we would love for you to join us!
Most of you know that in June 2015, I was diagnosed with Bilateral Pulmonary Emboli (PE) when I was 24 weeks pregnant. Then in October, I suffered from a massive postpartum hemorrhage (PPH) and a conditional called Disseminated Intravascular Coagulation or DIC (among other complications!) a week after delivery. We know the statistics and they are grim to say the least. We know how incredibly lucky we are- how BLESSED we are to be alive! That is why we continue with our "survival tradition" each June in an effort to raise awareness for DVT/PEs and maternal health so that other moms-to-be know the signs and can be survivors too.
Join us on Team Cattell for our third annual walk to Stop The Clot on June 2nd in New York City! It's sure to be a great day! If you can't join us in NYC for the event, please consider donating to my team to raise funds for the National Blood Clot Alliance. Let's help ensure more moms survive blood clots and go home to their babies. Your support means so much!
