Thanks to you, for the past 13 years of HomeWalk raised over $10M, mobilized more than 100,000 walkers, and housed over 20,000 of our formerly homeless neighbors. The pandemic has made our work even more critical.
In L.A. County: more than 66,000 people experience homelessness on a given night; nearly one-third of renter households spend more than half their income on housing; roughly 850,000 students attend inadequate schools; and nearly 1.5 million people in our region live below the poverty line.
The pandemic deepened and magnified the equity gaps in our systems and between our communities. We cannot let our most vulnerable neighbors fall further behind.
WalkUnitedLA is not the end of Homewalk, but the beginning of something new and powerful. To permanently break the cycles of generational poverty we are broadening our reach by addressing the interrelated root issues of homelessness and housing stability, education, and economic mobility. Your support will power the ideas and creative solutions that provide housing, education and opportunity for ALL.

Thank you for continuing to support our work.
