Walk & Wag and Run 2025

Dear friends, family, and other dear souls:

This is my 15th year of asking my little Universe for funds to support the best "open" shelter in the state. The one with the highest "Charity Navigator" rating, the highest save rate (97%), and that takes in all of the lost, injured, and surrendered animals of the community.

Get ready for this statistic -- which I learned last year when HSHV awarded me a Lifetime Achievement Award for my pro bono legal services, fundraising, and general support -- YOU HAVE CONTRIBUTED A QUARTER OF A MILLION DOLLARS TO MY FUNDRAISING EFFORTS IN THE PAST 15 YEARS.

Hundreds of people, one by one, dollar by dollar. Thousands of animals rescued, healed, socialized, trained, adopted, and loved. Animal food and supplies brought to homebound seniors, special services for Veterans who adopt, support for neighbors who need food for their pets for a few weeks/months.
