Our shelter is well known for matching adoptable animals with their loving forever homes.
But the work our organization does goes FAR beyond that.

? Our cruelty and rescue team saves animals from cruelty and neglect, and provides rescue services for injured, ill, or orphaned animals--including wildlife.
? Our Friends for Life program ensures that seniors and other folks in crisis in Washtenaw County are able to keep their pets in the loving homes they already have.
? Our affordable vet clinic provides accessible options for keeping pets happy and healthy.
? Our Bountiful Bowls pet food pantry keeps hungry bellies full and also provides cat litter to pet parents in need.
? Our temporary emergency shelter program provides relief to families and individuals in crisis, and prevents animals from being permanently separated from their humans.
? Our animal advocacy program fights for better laws to protect animals.
? Our Love Train program partners with other organizations to transport homeless animals from areas with fewer resources.
? Our TNR program helps unsocialized community cats to live safer, healthier lives while controlling overpopulation.
? Our humane education program inspires both kids and adults to care for animals responsibly and create a more humane world full of kindness for all kinds.
