My Personal Fundraising Page

I am fundraising for Walk and Wag and Run! Please donate to my page to help me reach my goal and support homeless, injured and abused animals.

Every shelter animal is someone’s Fen.

On June 3rd, 2017, I had the enormous privilege and joy of adopting a cat named Fen (see adorable profile picture above) from a Humane Society shelter. Although our time was cut short due to inoperable liver cancer, 4 years was plenty of time for Fen to make a lasting impact on my life, as well as those of my friends and family, and I could not be more grateful. The best way to honor him has been to spend my time supporting shelter animals while they wait to find their families, giving them the care and attention I would like to think he received during his time in shelter. After all, every shelter animal is someone’s Fen.

Why HSHV?

 The Humane Society of Huron Valley (HSHV) is there for the community's animals when they need help the most. As a no-kill shelter, HSHV has no time limits for animals; even if it takes months or years of training, medical care and TLC, they'll stick with an animal until they find just the right home. And it's all because of supporters like us. They need our help!
