Support me in The Washburn Games

I'll have a blast while I help my peers have happier, healthier childhoods!

We look forward to playing at the Washburn Games every year because it's FUN, but also because it raises money for a great cause - giving kids like us access to the help they need to overcome challenges like grief, trauma and anxiety. We know what it's like to be hurting on the inside - eight years ago, our baby sister Nora died soon after she was born. We still feel sad about it every day, but we know we have support from our parents, teachers and friends who care about us. One of the ways we honor our sister's memory is by helping make sure other kids know they aren't alone and that it's OK to ask for help when you're feeling sad, angry, frustrated or confused.

Help us raise money for children's mental health services at Washburn and you'll help kids who are hurting get back to just being kids again.

How will the money I raise make a difference?

Your donation supports Washburn Center for Children - a 132-year-old nonprofit helping children who are struggling with trauma, anxiety, depression or behavioral problems.

A parent or teacher wouldn’t think twice about getting help for a child suffering from a physical injury. Washburn Center for Children ensures caregivers also have a resource to help kids who are hurting on the inside - because children’s mental health is as important as their physical health.
