Support me in The Washburn Games
We are your team captains, Sam and Syd! Together with our family and friends, we will raise $1,000 to help children who are hurting on the inside.
This is the fourth year that Team SamSyd has raised money for Washburn Center for Children by participating in The Washburn Games. On Sunday, September 27, our training will prepare us to take part in 20+ different sports activities like lacrosse, yoga and cricket while helping to raise funds for Washburn Center for Children.
Our team recruitment program is strong. Last year’s team roster received a varsity letter for their efforts and have a starting position reserved for this year’s team. Team SamSyd has established itself as a traditional powerhouse with a formal walk-on program which attracts many awesome friends and family members who want to share in the Team’s efforts to help children be happy and healthy. The Team’s performance has improved over previous years and holds the highest winning percentage of smiles of any program since the inception of The Washburn Games six years ago.
We’ve prepared for the day by swimming, water skiing, building our strength on the monkey bars and bike rides to the neighborhood ice cream store. To confirm your starting position on Team SamSyd make a gift and join the team today.
Your team captains,
Sam and Syd

How will the money I raise make a difference?
Your donation supports Washburn Center for Children - a 132-year-old nonprofit helping children who are struggling with trauma, anxiety, depression or behavioral problems.
A parent or teacher wouldn’t think twice about getting help for a child suffering from a physical injury. Washburn Center for Children ensures caregivers also have a resource to help kids who are hurting on the inside - because children’s mental health is as important as their physical health.
