I am sailing in the Hospice Regatta to honor the incredible work hospice organizations do in providing compassionate care, dignity, and comfort to patients and their families during life’s most difficult moments. This regatta is more than just a race—it’s an opportunity to combine my love of sailing with a cause that deeply matters, helping to raise much-needed funds so that hospice services remain available to those in need, regardless of their ability to pay. Every tack, every gust of wind, and every mark rounded is a step toward supporting the caregivers, volunteers, and medical teams who make a profound difference in the lives they touch. By participating, I’m not just competing on the water—I’m helping to carry forward a mission of hope, care, and compassion.
