World Down Syndrome Day
March 21st is World Down Syndrome Day. While we celebrate the beautiful gift of Down syndrome every day, March 21st is set aside every year as an international holiday – the day the rest of the world celebrates with us. This year, we are making this celebration BIG, and we are celebrating all month long.
As most of you know, our son, Sam, has Down syndrome. Sam has been a blessing to us each and every second that he has been in our lives. And I want to tell our story to other parents and siblings who will newly welcome a child with Down syndrome into their lives.
Donate your change to raise money for the Down
Syndrome Association of Wisconsin’s Statewide
Parent’s First Call Program - connecting new
and expectant parents with balanced, accurate,
and unbiased information and support in the
moments that follow a diagnosis.
Thank you for reading and please consider pledging even the smallest amount - it will go to a wonderful cause!
