My name is Mary LaRovere and I am thrilled to be running the 2025 Disney Marathon for the Doug Flutie Jr. Foundation for Autism! I am from Boston, MA and am Boston College class of '24 studying Accounting & Information Systems. Pretty much on a whim I decided to run my first half marathon two years ago and have loved getting more into running ever since! I can't wait to combine this passion with my love for Disney, all while doing it for an amazing cause that uplifts the voices of individuals and families affected by autism.
Why I'm Running
This has been a dream of mine for the longest time and I can't wait to work for it to come true! I've always been inspired by Doug Flutie's commitment to give back to the Boston College community to foster meaningful connection. The foundation's mission to similarly create opportunities to live each day fully for people and families impacted by autism is a cause I am very enthusiatic to lend my support to.
